MAJOR DONOR ENGAGEMENT: Increasing Capital Campaign Support
The White House Historical Association was founded by First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy 1961 to enhance the understanding and appreciation of the Executive Mansion — “The People’s House.” (BPA) Consulting and the Association have colloborated on various projects to increase support of the organization’s newly launched capital campaign. Work has included multiple major donor cultivation events, a prospect discovery assessment, and the campaign’s feasibility study. This worked has resulted in successful solicitation of new campaign donors.
Leadership Development: Executive & Board Consultation
As part of (BPA) Consulting’s commitment to equity, the firm has offered services to The City Tutors, a New York City based nonprofit on a mission to provide tutoring and mentoring to all learners, no matter their ability to pay, access, or age. For the past several months (BPA) Consulting has advised the CEO and the Board of Directors regarding individual and corporate fundraising strategies, how to increase fundraising, built end-of-year, lapsed donor, and brand-new donor appeals, and conducted board training.
Data Analytics: GROWING THE FUNDRAISING APPARATUS
The Public Housing Community Fund supports over 500,000 New York Central Housing Authority (NYCHA) families. Over the span of a 3-month period, (BPA) Consulting had the opportunity to assess fundraising strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to the organization’s intended growth. This included interviews with more than twenty key stakeholders, a qualitative assessment, a robust data analysis of historical giving trend, and an extensive peer benchmarking to develop 13 key strategic recommendations anchored in expanding the organization’s fundraising apparatus.
